VMMissions Overview

Background

Since 1919, Virginia Mennonite Missions  (VMMissions) has partnered with churches to send and support mission workers into both domestic and international  assignments.

Currently, fifty-five mission workers and multiple short-term teams participate in ministries that include evangelism, discipleship, church planting, leadership development, education, business for transformation, refugee ministry, prison ministry, and children’s ministry.

In the past five years, VMMissions’ annual revenue has grown from $1.5 million to nearly $3 million. A volunteer governing board represents its supporting churches, while office staff members equip, coach and support ministries on the ground.

Mission

VMMissions equips the church to share new life in Jesus Christ with neighbors near and far.

Vision

VMMissions envisions a Spirit-filled church of many cultures living out God’s kingdom in every sphere of life.

Areas of Focus
